Vyve Broadband is a leading broadband Internet provider serving rural communities across 16 states. Vyve Broadband offers a   range of broadband, fiber connectivity, cable television and voice services for commercial and residential customers including high-speed internet (up to Vyve Gig), digital HD video and voice services.  For commercial customers, Vyve offers optical Ethernet, PRI and hosted voice services to the business community. The RVP Technical Operations will provide executive-level guidance for all Technical & Network Maintenance Field Operations for the Southeast Region (locations in NC, SC, TN, GA, and AL). This leader will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The RVP represents the regional interests and will partner with the Divisional, National, and Regional Cable finance leads as well as the Executive leads for all functional areas within the region.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership and Operations Management:
    • Drive a customer and employee-centric culture.
    • Create and execute customer-centric strategies to achieve key business objectives, including operational metrics, revenue, expense targets, and workforce development.
    • Oversee all technical and network maintenance operations for the SE Region.
    • Ensure the overall customer experience, including Residential and Commercial fulfillment activities.
    • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics and address trends to improve outcomes.
  • Financial Accountability and Resource Management:
    • Develop, manage, and oversee expense budgets, including labor and capital allocations.
    • Ensure financial planning and operational processes are tied to business plans and regional P&L objectives.
    • Strategically forecast customer activity and allocate resources to meet demand.
  • Team Leadership and Workforce Development:
    • Translate the organization’s vision, values, and goals into actionable objectives for teams.
    • Build and manage a highly skilled, motivated, and diverse workforce.
    • Lead initiatives for employee development in partnership with HR and Talent organizations.
  • Operational Improvement and Strategic Initiatives:
    • Review operational performance data to identify and implement improvements.
    • Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive initiatives that enhance the employee and customer experience.

Supporting Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with business operations (Finance) on budget, fleet, facility, and asset management.
    • Maintain strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate with peers across regions and divisions.
  • Policy Implementation and Compliance:
    • Interpret and implement corporate policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Project and Inventory Management:
    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects across assigned territories to successful completion.
    • Ensure an adequate supply of equipment and maintain inventory control systems.
  • Culture and Safety:
    • Drive the culture of "safety always" across the workforce.
  • External Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with governmental agencies, utilities, home developers, and other stakeholders.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings to support system growth and market penetration.
  • Competitive Awareness and Innovation:
    • Monitor competition and implement innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience at an executive-level in a complex cable or telecom organizations.
  • 10 years of experience must include a mix of operations and financial/analytical responsibilities including P&L.
  • Previous General Manager, VP Operations, AVP, or other similar level experience preferred.
